Denny's at 2316 Southmore Boulevard, Houston, Texas.

I really like Denny's, mainly because of the variety of choices and the flexibility in making a dish that suits you. I particularly liked this location because of the old-style diner vibe; turns out it was only built in 2000 but it feels older and reasonably authentic. We visited on a Saturday, late in the morning; it was busy but staff were smiling and helpful. Our busser cleared the table lightning fast so we could take a seat, and our server was friendly and chatty and got everything right. Sounds about what you want for a fun weekend brunch, right?! :)
