Cigars of the World at 4505 Highway 6 #1500, Houston, Texas.

NOT a good experience this morning.
Let me preface by saying that this is NOT my first time in there, and my previous experiences were good. Nice comfortable place, and the owner (Archie- great guy) was responsive and friendly. They have a solid selection of cigars, and not overpriced, although they do carry some high-end stuff.

Well, he wasn't there today, his daughter was. A girl of about 20, with the all the people skills of a washing machine on the rinse cycle. A straight-up creep.

I needed to buy a lighter, and said so. She led me to the humidor and showed me the shelf....and proceeded to STAND there and STARE at me during the entire 4-5 minute process of comparing/contrasting different torches. She had this look of "how long is this going to take?" as if she actually had something to DO (she didn't), and that I was somehow PREVENTING her from doing it. Did she think I was going to STEAL stuff, and that's why she was the world's biggest f***ing idiot?

I got the hell out of there.

I feel sorry for her dad. I'll find another place to smoke.
